RV Inverter how can i wire a 110v lcd tv into my rv?

The short answer to this Q&A is "yes", a simple DC/AC inverter should run your DVD/LCD combo. Just make sure the inverter is a good-enough one that smooths out the usual saw-tooth AC waveform on the 110V output (the cheaper ones, made for lights and small electric razors, etc., have a pretty rough output & might not have a clean enough sine-wave AC for video/audio gadgets).
You shouldn't need to splice any of your TV's wires (a correct model inverter will have a 3-prong AC wall outlet). If your RV has no generator nor convenient access to whatever 12volts runs the ceiling lights, then yes, a careful patch cable from the inverter's DC input to your 12VDC lighting circuit is the best way. Just be cautious about running-down your car battery, if the RV doesn't have its own.

no, you will fry your alternator voltage regulator. Most will put up with heavy use for a while but will need to cool down, to much use like that will premature the life of your alternator and then you will be double screwed. because you will now have to go out and buy and install and alternator. just sit in the truck. and put the TV in the windshield.
