Why does LP powered Generac Generator run 10 seconds and stops?

1.0 liter Generac twin engine, great spark, new plugs, air filter, no diagnostic lights on, will start and run somewhat poorly for about ten seconds and stop. Measured LP gas pressure at regulator output to engine and it was 11 inches w.c., right on the money, propane supply tank is full.Unit is 4 years old with about 100 hours running time total.
Outside temperature today was above 60 deg. F, so freezing of propane not an issue.

This is a guess, but have you checked the choke mechanism? Also check the automatic low oil shut down sensor. It may be giving a false positive. Full of oil? Propane line bled? Regulator vent not plugged? Correct plugs? Try taking the battery cables completely off and waiting a couple minutes to reset any computer that may be involved.
