Propane Rv water heater how do i fix a rv camper propane water heater?
no propane coming out at the pilot valve, tanks are service & turn on. the gas stove is working.
When rv water heaters are used only occasionally the valve tends to stick.If your thermocouple and pilot tube are ok try lightly tapping on the control valve on the heater. This may free it up. I was ready to replace my control when my brother in law who owns a trailer park told me to do this and it worked. Good luck.

Rv water heater Lp will a 5 watt solar panel charge my 12 volt battery enough to turn on the water pump in my rv?
After reading a ton of info on solar panels for my rv I am even more confused. I don't think I want anything that is technical just the solar panel with the clamps that connect to the battery terminals. I don't have a lot of things in the camper: water pump, water heater (lp heated), 3 lights. I don't spend a lot of time in the camper so how many watts of power would I need to keep my marine battery charged for the week?? (estimated)
A lot depends on total usage of the pump. 5 Watts is at best marginal even for a small pump. A 15 Watt panel would be almost adequate. 30 Watts would likely work the best. This assumes an on demand pump rather than one that holds pressure on the line.
At 30 Watts, you are producing only 2.5 amps on a 12 volt system. This enough to replenish the charge on a fully charged battery in light usage.
