If someone has the factory Manual or Owners instructions? I am trying to refill a used generator I purchased and would like to know both the capacity and the viscosity of oil the Factory recommends? Thank You in Advance. Goodn.
I have the generator and engine manuals available on my web page.

Check engine oil . . . . Before each use Change engine oil . . . After first 20 hours and then every 50 hours of operation Clean air filter. . . . .. .Every 50 hours of operation Clean spark plug . . . .Every 100 hours of operation Clean spark arrestor . .Every 50 hours of operation
Oil Type. Use new good quality oil such as SC, SD, and SE grades. The oil to be used depends upon the temperature at which the engine is operated: Summer: (temperatures of over 40 degrees F/10 degreesC) SAE 30 or SAE 10W-30, SAE 10W-40 Winter: (temperatures of below 40 degrees F/10 degrees C) SAE 20 or SAE 10W-30
The engine holds approximately 2/3 quart (18-20 ounces, 0.55 liters) of oil.
You essentially remove the cap and fill the crankcase to overflowing. There is no dipstick so the oil level must remain filled to the top where the cap screws in. I use 5W30 automotive oil in my generator, snowblower, and lawnmower. Don't go with the cheap store brand oils, get a good quality oil.
suburban water heater Is it bad to run a 86 diesel suburban with a leaky heater core? Or is it a rain leak?
It's parked outside, facing downhill. There's a fairly profuse drip from behind glovebox into floormat. I know that's where the heater core is. Is it going to hurt anything if I run the truck about ten miles?
Has anyone else ever just had a water leak there in a similar truck?
Your best bet is to bypass the heater core by switching the hoses around on the engine block. Just take the one off the heater core where it enters the firewall and reattach it to where the other hose attaches to the block. Tada! You no longer have a heater (or leak)
We bought a older model Camper a 1989 Jayco Express 1750. Everything seems to work well with the exception of the Water Heater. We can not get the pilot light lit. The Water Heater is a suburban VRV6X. Could you give me some suggestions as what could be the problem. No I do not smell gas when I hold down the Pilot button.
I have a Coleman powermate sport 1850 portable generator. The model number is PMC401851 and the serial number is 74492803. I don't know where the manual is and I need one to be sent to my house. Do you think they'd send one to my house for free? If not, how much would it cost? Who do I contact for the cheapest price for themanual? Sources?
