Coleman Generators
I have a coleman 5250 generator that got hot and doesn't make elecany more. Does having 20amp plug for 30amp?

Not real sure what you are asking here. It no longer puts out electricity? Check all fuses/breakers. Second part of your question is also not clear. Did you attach a 30 amp item to the 20 amp output? If that is what made it get hot and stop working you probably burned out the generator. It will have to be rebuilt or replaced by a professional. That is not a do it yourself project.

The Coleman Two Burner Electronic Ignition Camping Stove is a Winner!
