I know that when I first built my first set of solar panels, my biggest fear was that I select the wrong alternative energy device -(Wind or Solar). I just wanted soemone to tell me which was better.
But as I found out, there are different circumstances that can effect our decision - like where we livem what are goasl are and what we are willing to do .
So I will try to provide you with some basic attributes for the Magnetic Energy Generator and your Basic Solar Energy Panels.
How Solar and Magnetic Energy Work
Solar Panels are actually Photovoltaic. With the material that is used inside them -usually silicone- they take sunlight and trap it inside the panel. As soon as the sunlight hits the panel, the photovoltaic chnage happens -meaning that the electrons automatically separate from there atoms.

Some Differences Between Solar and Magnetic Energy

When it comes to using solar panels on the road - it would be normal practice to build a few smaller panels. And there are various different items and methods that can be used while on the road or camping - like water heaters, and portable solar panels for the RV or Camper.

They, on average will produce more energy- although, the magniwork generators will continue to produce energy more consistently.

How do you get there? Where are you coming from? You might fly into Reno, but from there you'll need to arrange a ride (rent a car/RV or find somebody else to car pool with). You could just drive the whole way to Burning Man as well.
I generally think of Burning Man as costing about $1000. That includes ticket (currently $280), airfare to Reno, rental car and food/water/alcohol. I have all the camping equipment I need, and I pick up clothes over the course of the year, so I don't really factor that into my budget. If you're getting a RV, that will probably start at around $200/day, so you could end up spending $2000 or more on RV rental alone. Buying camping equipment should be substantially cheaper than an RV if you don't already have the camping gear, but it will be less comfortable. RV will include generator capabilities and showers. Personally, I don't see what you'd need a generator for; you can get by just fine without electricity out there. You can set up a solar shower and evaporation pond (probably $100+) if you're not bringing an RV, or just forgo showering and go with sponge baths. How much do you want to spend on food? You could probably eat for less than $5/day if you're going with real basic food.
Basically it comes down to how much you're willing to spend. Doing Burning Man for $1000 is certainly feasible, but if you need RV/showers/generator/fancy food you can spend substantially more.
Bikes aren't absolutely essential, but you'll probably won't to have one (I'm fine without real showers and RV, but I'd never do Burning Man without a bike).
