Do they make electric water heaters for RV's?
I would like to change out my propane water heater in my Fifth wheel camper to an electric one. I was wondering if they make electric ones for RV's?
There are many sizes of electric water heaters on the market-- most are rated for 220V -- in your 5th wheel this could be a problem if the campsite does not provide 220V at the hook up-- I can not think of a company that makes one to run on 120V-- if there is it is so small it would not work for the hot water you would need for washing etc-- --

sounds like you may have not cut the power to it if its hard wired you may have turned off the wrong breaker if not u should be able to just unplug it if you hear a noise it may be the water running in the unit if its still heating up and the power is off to it i hate to sound stupid but are you sure its not a gas water heater wcich would have no elec to it
