Rv Water Heater
I have a 3 gal fish tank and want to know what type of fish could i put in it?
This will be a cold water tank. The temp in my RV in fall and winter will get down in the 60's at night and do not want to kill off my fish if the temp is too cold for them. Would I need to buy a small heater for the tank to keep all fish warm on cold nights? My space heater will get up to 80 and run all night to keep the RV warm for myself and my dog & cat...but what will happen to fish if they get cold??
Nothing can live in 3 gallons.
You need a 5 gallon that can house 1 betta.
Goldfish need 20 gallons for each goldfish.
Goldfish cannot live healthy in bowls of water.
Actually now it is classfied as cruel to the fish
as they become stunted. meaning they grow on the
inside but not outside, so all their internal bone and organs
get twisted. it is a slow painful life leading to death.
Even the small tropical fish need to be in 30 gallons of water
as they are schooling fish and will need lots of space to swim in.
Tropical fish need the right setting for which every kind of fish they are.
When you do get your new tank, please cycle it. It takes 6-8 weeks to complete the cycling. If you add fish other than 2 that you put in there to start the cycling, your tank will be unhealthy and your fish will die.
