My RV refrigeration works in my home, but doesn't in camping(30amp)electricity?
I connet my Motor home in 110volts in my house before going camping in order to have the refrigerator working properly, but when I get the camping electricity (30 amps),it starts desfrosing.
I have found from experience that MANY, if not MOST, RV refrigerators will work fine on 110 and NOT very well on 12. (At best they keep things cool, but won't keep things frozen!)
IF it is a 3-way, 110, 12, and gas, use the 12 ONLY while actually moving and change to gas at the campsite if there is no 110 available. Otherwise I suggest a generator or invertor to supply 110.
IF you use an invertor, do NOT connect to your vehicle's main battery, use a 'secondary' battery and a 'split' charging system. This way you will always have the vehicle battery charged to start the vehicle with.
It is illegal in most places to leave the propane turned on while moving. The main reason for this is safety, especially in the event of an accident.

is there anybody out there who knows how to get rotten fish smell out of an RV refrigerator?
You need to take it completely apart, and wash it thoroughly. I am talking about pullin the door off the hinges, and pulling out every compartment. I had to do the same thing when the RV broke down, and the frig stopped working.
