power inverter For Rv

Any RV techs out there ?? small electrical issue.?

I have a 2005 Thor Tahoe travel trailer, when i have the generator running everthing electrical works fine, and when i,m plugged into 120v, everything is good, but when i I try to run off it's own (battery) power nothing works, not even inside lights. It is a brand new battery, i replaced the inline breaker/fuse, I have checked all battery connections at battery and inside at inverter., no breakers or fuses blow inside unless there is one in behind i cant see. It is still under warranty, but really burns my butt i can't figure this out and if inexpensive would rather fix it myself. Thanks in advance.
if my interior lights (which are 12V) work when plugged into 120V would'nt this mean that inverter is working?

When you run off the battery, you need a power inverter that converts the battery voltage to 120 Volts AC. So find the inverter and make sure the battery voltage is measured at its input. Then if 120 VAC doesn't come out its output, maybe the inverter is bad. A separate power supply converts 120 VAC to 12 Volts DC. You need a basic block diagram and electrical schematic of everything to work from. You might have to pay for a "shop manual" from the RV company.
