onan generator Starters
we have an 81 chevy winnebago. It has a onan generator problem.?
When my husband pushes in the starter button, it starts and runs but when he lets go of the button, it stops. Is there an auto switch or something he might be missing?
Some systems have a fail-safe that only allows the generator to run if there is over half a tank of gas in the vehicle. If the main fuel guage is off or doesn't work, you could be having that problem. Of course there is the associated wiring too.
