Coleman Rv air conditioners
please help with my rv a/c?
i have a coleman air conditioner in my rv... it works fine until i turn it off then it wont restart the cooler when i try to turn it bak on... the fan will work in "fan only" mode but the cooler wont start in "low cool" or "high cool" mode... sometimes the a/c will trip the circuit breaker and again will not restart when i reset the c-breaker... can anybody tell me what needs to be replaced for proper operation?
its not the switch, and its probably not a relay, my guess is the start cap for the pump.i might be totaly wrong, but ive fixed a few coleman systems.

How much freon is needed for a Coleman Air conditioner?
In our RV we have a Coleman Air Conditioner, we have apsolutley no clue how much freon is needed for it. please if anyone has any info on this let me know.

Do you even know what type refrigerant it takes? Why do you think it needs more? When was the last time a competent tech checked it out? When was the last time it was properly cleaned? Does the compressor run and pump? What capacity is the unit?
There cold be many factors leading to your decision that "it needs freon" that are beyond your scope.
Have it properly serviced, it'll save you in the long run.
Some things are best left to the pros.
